NYFW Recap
So happy to be back in New York for a short but sweet trip. I was hoping for a little bit of a Fall feeling, pulling out my clothes that I haven’t worn since cooler days … but when I landed it was over 90 degrees. Here’s links for everything I wore
If fashion week is interesting to you, or the business of being an influencer at all — one of the most important things is your personal brand and making a name for yourself. There is an art to doing so and in this week’s Life with Marianna episode there is such great advice on creating your personal brand and creating engaging content.
Also I tried something new with my video content this week, did you see it? Let me know what you think of the mini mic.
Outfits
These were my most worn shoes of the trip, they are from The Row but I found a great dupe and I ordered a pair for myself in tan. Of course I travel with a mini Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask, I use it as a hand cream when I travel or a moisturizer. I was exhausted on my flight so I really needed it for my under eyes.
Where I stayed + ate
All the events I had this week were in Brooklyn, so I stayed at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge. It was my first time staying here and it was such a beautiful hotel with stunning views and next to a walking path.
With a busy schedule, I ate a lot of postmates but I did venture out a little bit. A must stop is L'Appartment 4f for the most delicious croissants you’ll ever have, even better than the ones in Paris.
My matcha order is an iced matcha with half water and half oat milk and I got them from Ralph’s, Blank Street and Aribica.
Chanel Lucky Chance Diner
NYFW shows didn’t officially start until September 8th, but events kicked off the week a few days early. CHANEL took over a diner in Williamsburg for a nostalgic night full of fashion. I wore a full Chanel look, mini bag and vintage clip on earrings.
Dior party at Brooklyn Botanic Garden
I think I manifested this outfit. On instagram, I shared the story of attending the Dior show last PFW and how I loved this look so much when it walked during the show that I took a video of it. The event was to celebrate Dior’s L’Or de J’adore Fragrance and an art collaboration with Jean-Michel Othoniel. I found a similar look to recreate this look here.
Ralph Lauren Spring 2024 Show
The only show I attended this fashion week was Ralph Lauren. It was my first time being invited by the brand to attend and the whole process from the fitting for the show, attending and the dinner that followed were so special and memories that I will always remember. I wore a tan suit and my new RL888 bag in RL Gold.
